Join your fellow Data Specialists and legal aid staff tasked with crunching data for our monthly office hours.
These office hours will occur monthly on the second Monday from 2 pm to 3 pm Eastern. Each month, a community member will share information on a topic of interest. Attendees will be able to ask questions, discuss relevant information, and receive feedback from the community.

Sometimes, LSNTAP's role is to share other resources available to the community. For those interested in data, there is a young but thriving community growing through the Legal Aid Data Google Group started by Susan Vincent of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.
On October 05, 2021, Sateesh Nori from The Legal Aid Society of NYC and Scott Ellis from The Michigan Advocacy Program shared tips for completely common tasks, like sharing and accessing client data, more securely.

What is the National Subject Matter Index?
The National Subject Matter Index (NSMI) provides a centralized, comprehensive taxonomy of topics for the legal aid community by which documents and data can be indexed.
Many of you might be looking for alternatives to host your web or video conferencing needs. This is an updated list of the the current web conferncing options avalible. I’ve included links to the free demo videos that most of these services include on their websites. Remember that most of them also offer a trial period, so if you’re really interested, try it out for free before you pay!
