Our membership has grown and become more diverse, particularly as our work has attracted the attention of technology vendors. While having a larger community benefits our work immensely, it can make communication more challenging. To support our growing and active group, we ask that the LSNTAP community abide by the following community agreement when using the LSNTAP listserv.
Regardless of whether you're working for a smaller organization or a huge one, you're most likely in the end going to need to round out a Request for Proposal, or RFP. Your organization can't do everything internally, and when your business needs to buy a product or service from somewhere else, you may need to look around for a solution. An RFP enables you to gather offers from different sellers and select the merchant that best meets your criteria, both concerning aptitude and spending plan.
Recently Sart Rowe, Northwest Justice Project's National Technology Assistance Project Coordinator asked our LSNTAP Google Group to share their organization's Youtube channels. I have put together a list of organizations that responded to the posting, and found some useful videos on their channels. There is a wide variety of organizational and project management tools out there, and they are definitely a must for your organization if you want to keep your projects streamlined and moving forward. I have put together a list of the four most popular task/project management tools and have organized them from least to most complicated. All of these tools listed here are quality tools I can recommend, which particular tool is right for you and your organization will depend on what functionality you need.
