2020

X

Working remotely and providing remote legal services have unique challenges.  Some programs like Montana Legal Services have been tackling these issues for years, others are new to the challenges.  This kick off webinar will have several perspectives from the community and practical tips for remote legal services. Topics will include: security, tech tools, supervision online, client outreach, remote work policies,  laptops & docking stations,  scanning docs, digital signatures and project management online.  Examples will come from legal services projects and professionals that have been working remotely or with remote clients for years.

There will also be time for questions with a panel of experts.  We will also have a follow up survey to determine needs in the community and topics for deeper dive trainings and community calls.

Speakers Include:

Anne Steele - Director of Consulting - Just Tech

Liz Keith -  Program Director - Pro Bono Net

Allison Paul - Executive Director Montana Legal Services,

Esperanza Borboa  - Eastside Legal Assistance Program

and other professionals from inside legal aid organizations.
