LSNTAP Expands Its Offerings with the Acquisition of A2JJobs.org

A Strategic Merger to Support the Access to Justice Pipeline

July 7, 2025 — The Legal Services National Technology Assistance Project (LSNTAP) is pleased to announce its recent acquisition of A2J Jobs, a widely used platform for posting and finding careers in the access to justice field. This strategic merger strengthens LSNTAP’s position as a central hub for legal aid technology education and resources by expanding its offerings to include workforce development and recruitment support.

Founded in 2023 by access to justice innovator David Gray, A2J Jobs has long served the legal aid and public interest legal communities by connecting job seekers with mission-driven employers and opportunities across the country. Bringing this platform under the LSNTAP umbrella will expand job-related resources for the access to justice community, increase visibility of open positions in legal aid and related fields, and provide greater support for organizations looking to build and retain strong, tech-savvy teams.

"This merger is a natural extension of our mission to support legal aid organizations through technology and training," said Shellie Reid, Program Manager at LSNTAP. "By acquiring A2J Jobs, we’re now able to better support the career development of legal professionals while continuing to provide the trusted tech training and resources for which LSNTAP is known."

In the coming months, LSNTAP will integrate A2J Jobs more closely with its existing website, providing users with seamless access to work opportunities, tech tools, training events, and community-building resources. Community partners Eduardo Gonzalez and Joseph Schieffer will provide strategic guidance during the transition, helping ensure the platform’s continued usability and innovation as it integrates with LSNTAP’s existing tools.

“When I left law school, paths to access to justice work– fellowships, legal aid jobs, and short term projects– were limited and hard to find without existing relationships,” shares Eduardo Gonzalez, IAALS’s 2024 Alli Gerkman Legal Visionary. “Today, the ecosystem and programs in the field vary widely. Emerging professionals and the organizations that need mission-driven talent benefit greatly from a resource like this to envision careers in the field. LSNTAP is a natural fit for A2J Jobs – more than a job board, it’s a platform that elevates the access to justice career path.”
