Ypsilanti, MI, April 15 — The Legal Services National Technology Assistance Project (LSNTAP) has launched a new feature on A2J Jobs that allows organizations to post Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) directly on the site.
Known as a free resource for connecting legal aid and access-to-justice organizations with job seekers, A2J Jobs now also helps organizations share opportunities for vendors, consultants, and partners to respond to technology, operations, training, and other organizational needs.
“We know that organizations are often looking for better ways to spread the word about their RFPs and RFIs,” said Shellie Reid of LSNTAP. “By adding an RFP section to A2J Jobs, LSNTAP is making it easier for organizations to reach the people and companies most likely to be interested and qualified.”
The new section is available now through A2J Jobs, and organizations may post RFPs and RFIs using the same process they currently use to post employment opportunities. “Even before the official launch, some organizations had already discovered the new section and begun posting their opportunities,” Reid said.
LSNTAP is also developing the next phase of the project: integrating the new A2J Jobs RFP section with LSNTAP’s existing website and RFP database. Once complete, organizations will be able to enter information one time and have it automatically appear across multiple platforms. The future integration is intended to reduce duplicate work, simplify the posting process, and help ensure that RFPs and RFIs reach as much of the legal aid and access-to-justice community as possible.
Organizations are encouraged to try the new feature and share feedback. LSNTAP also encourages organizations that are not yet using A2J Jobs for recruitment to explore the site and share it with their human resources staff.
