LSNTAP is hosting an open forum on the use of AI in legal services intake systems. At this meeting, we'll get a high-level sense of what common concerns people have, challenges their organizations face in developing/implementing AI-supported intake technologies, case-studies of existing/in-progress work currently being done in this sphere, and more. Our goal is to have this be a continuing series.

Join us for this look at Legal Services Alabama's (LSA) Legal Compass AL. Legal Compass is a free online tool that provides individuals with legal action plans and resources. It is designed for low-income Alabama residents who can't afford a private attorney but don't qualify for LSA's free legal aid. Users can describe their legal issue in plain language to receive relevant next steps and information to be their own first advocate. Louise Seale will share an inside look at the tool and what it offers.
